What are the requirements?
To enroll need to be able to meet the following requirements.
- Be above the compulsory school age
- (at least 17 years of age with valid ID)
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

If you do not have a diploma or equivalency, you may also take an “ability-to-benefit” test administered by a certified testing agency that measures a person’s ability to benefit from training. Don't Have a diploma? CLICK HERE
What are the training requirements?
To apply for a Texas manicurist license, you must first enroll at American Manicure School of Art. Which is a beauty school licensed in Texas. Beauty school students will be issued a student permit while in training.
To qualify for a license, you must complete the following beauty school training requirements:
- Manicurist – Complete 600 hours of instruction in a beauty school
